The National Bureau of Civic Affairs exists to help people.

A lot of things are broken, a lot of people need help, and a lot of the time, there is no one who can do anything to fix it.

We would really love to change that.

Our mission is to fill in the cracks where government and other systems fall short, whether that means cleaning up neighborhoods, feeding people who need a meal, or helping someone understand how to navigate a public service system. We organize direct action: cleanup crews, aid distribution, educational workshops, and public service efforts that happen offline and in real time.

We also create media to spotlight civic issues, provide education, and help people understand what they can do to get involved.
